Walt Disney Company’s mobile app Disney + released last month created a new record in just one months. Launched in November, the application has been downloaded 22 million times.
According to Disney, more than 1 million subscribers have signed up to watch streaming video on the first day after being launched to cater to their customers’ needs. According to online company Optomia, Disney + is ahead of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, the same service company as Disney. This mobile application is widely used in the United States, Canada, New Zealand and the Netherlands. Google says Disney + is the most searched word in the US this year.
